District Councillor for the Ward of Moulton, Weston and Cowbit

Conservative County Councillor for Donington Rural

Let me introduce myself …..

Born from a farmer in Moulton Seas End in 1950, I worked as a blacksmith’s apprentice in the village.  At 15 years of age, I moved away from the area to serve my Country for 12 years in the Royal Navy and for another 12 years as a Detective in the Cleveland Constabulary.

I returned to my roots and moved back from Moulton Seas End and became the landlord of the local pub. In December 2012, I retired as a Company Director and was then in a position to concentrate on my political career.

I’ve been involved in, and given up my spare time, for charitable work for which I feel I am giving something back to the Community.

I already have had experience in the functioning of local government having worked in a voluntary capacity for Lincolnshire County Council’s Social Services.

I’ve now had the privilege of being a District Councillor for coming up to 10 years, serving the villages of my Ward; namely Moulton, Moulton Chapel, Moulton Seas End, Cowbit, Weston and Weston Hills and I’m standing for re-election as a Conservative Candidate and I’m seeking your vote to continue as a District Councillor for the Moulton Ward.

In May 2017, I was elected as the Conservative County Councillor for Donington Rural which encompasses Donington, Gosberton, Gosberton Risegate & Clough, Surfleet, Quadring and part of Pinchbeck. I feel very proud for what I have achieved.
